How to calculate your KwH usage
The wattage of stand mixers can vary wildly. Some only require a couple of hundred watts, others reach the thousands. It’s unlikely that you’ll have to run your stand mixer for longer than 15 minutes continuously, but it’s still worth knowing how much it’s going to cost you.
This simple sum will help you work out a stand mixer’s kWh usage. Take the wattage and multiply it by the hours of use per day (for less than an hour you’ll need to make this a decimal), then divide the total by 1000.
The final cost per kWh will depend on two factors: your energy tariff rate and where you live.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday takes place on Friday 25 November 2022. It’s a coverall term for four days of retailer discounts and savings. The Black Friday savings event will end on 28 November, otherwise known as Cyber Monday.
What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is the huge shopping and sales event that takes place the Friday after Thanksgiving – that’s tomorrow! Lots of big retailers take part each year, offering competitive deals across their entire range. It’s a brilliant time to pick up items you’ve been meaning to buy for a while or even to stock up on discounted Christmas presents.
While the sales are meant to begin the day after Thanksgiving, we’ve seen huge discounts available from as early as the start of the month. Many retailers have also released their Black Friday discounts early.
What were some of the best deals from Black Friday last year?
As a must-have for keen bakers and the kind of item that makes it on to many a Christmas list, we saw plenty of discounted stand mixers last year.
Kenwood dominated discount-wise, and we saw 54% off the Kenwood kMix stand mixer. There were also plenty of discounts across the Kenwood Chef range, too. KitchenAid also had impressive discounts across its range, as did Cuisinart and Bosch.
